I suggest you ...

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

If a similar idea already exists, you can support and comment on it.

If it doesn't exist, you can post your idea so others can support it.

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

    • Use np parameter to verify returned data

      I have encountered a bug/problem, especially with searches, in that returned results get crossed. For example in a search as you are typing "thi" and a search is triggered due to the user pausing, but the user then continues typing and ends up with a search term of "thing" but gets results for "thi".

      I propose that a fix for this is for the server to return the "np" parameter to show which search the results appertain to, if the server doesn't return it, then the checking is ignored, thus making it backwards compatible.

      • searchOperators display selectable by column

        Currently searchOperators:true triggers display of the search operators for all columns.

        I have several columns with multiple sopt choices where displaying the operators is useful but I have other columns with only one sopt or using a select list where displaying the operators is unnecessary/unwanted.

        Please provide a searchOptions option in searchoptions to allow the display to be controlled on a coumn by column basis.

        Alternatively automatically suppress the display if there is only one sopt choice or select is being used

        • bring back caching of dataUrl response in edit form

          That behaviour was changed to fix some issues regarding recreateForm, but it was a great feature and it would be nice to have it back.

          Thanks!

            • actions formatter pass beforeEditRow

              The actions formatter should allow option of beforeEditRow. This could be used to set cell editable/non-editable during inline edit from edit action icon.

              Only change needed to implement is to add new field to "actop" in "rowactions" function in jquery.fmatter.js as in:

              var actop = {
              keys: op.keys,
              ---> beforeEditRow: op.beforeEditRow,
              oneditfunc: op.onEdit,
              successfunc: op.onSuccess,
              url: op.url,
              extraparam: op.extraparam,
              aftersavefunc: saverow,
              errorfunc: op.onError,
              afterrestorefunc: restorerow,
              restoreAfterError: op.restoreAfterError,
              mtype: op.mtype
              };

              Usage would be:

              colModel: [
              { name: "action",
              formatter: 'actions',
              formatoptions: {
              beforeEditRow: function(p, rowid) {
              if (rowid.substring(0,3) == 'jqg') //new row
              $('#users').setColProp('name', {editable:true});
              else // existing row
              $('#users').setColProp('name', {editable:false}); …

                I will appreciate if you can provide an option to drag and select single or multiple cells. Based on the selection can perform some actions.

                • Formatted excel export

                  Hi,
                  It's way better if there's a formatted excel export.
